Do I need to know how to write prompts?

No. You ask in one sentence, the way you'd ask a person, and it writes and builds the rest.

Can SmartGenius post without me?

Only if you want it to. By default, every post waits for your OK. With Autopilot on, you choose how each post goes out: only with your OK, on its own unless you step in, or on its own without waiting for you. It tells you either way. Without Autopilot, you approve and it publishes, or you download the images and caption and post by hand. Publishing straight from SmartGenius will be available once Meta, the company that owns Instagram, approves. Until then, you download the images and the caption and publish from the Instagram app.

Do I have to sign in to approve a post?

Not if the post came from Autopilot. The email carries a link that opens the whole post on your phone, with no password. The link is for one post and one person, and it works for 7 days. To edit, you sign in to SmartGenius. Autopilot is part of the paid plans, which open once Meta approves. Today you approve inside SmartGenius.

Where does it get what to post?

Four places, in this order: the ideas you left in the queue; the dates coming up (Customer Day, Black Friday); the radar, which researches what people are saying about your subjects before your posts are built and comes back with angles and sources; and what your own numbers call for, read from Instagram. And it keeps an eye on what profiles like yours are posting (public posts only, without signing in to anyone's account). The radar's research and the ideas queue come with Autopilot, on the paid plans. Reading your numbers needs your Instagram connected and will be available once Meta approves.

Is this an engagement bot?

No. It publishes through Instagram's official API, like a professional scheduler, and that's all it does: build and publish the posts you asked for or approved. It doesn't follow, like, comment or message anyone for you. Comments and DMs stay with you. Publishing straight from SmartGenius will be available once Meta approves.

Which Instagram accounts work?

To make and download posts, any public account works. To connect it and publish straight from SmartGenius, the account has to be professional: Business or Creator. Switching a personal account takes a minute under Settings and privacy › Account type and tools, and you don't lose anything.

Can I use my own photos?

Yes, it's the best way. Slides made from your photos don't use up your image quota; the AI only paints where there's no photo.

Will the images look AI-generated?

SmartGenius sets the text, the layout, the logo and your brand's colors. The AI only paints the background art, with no text, no logos and no made-up faces, and you can swap any image before you approve.

Can I ask for posts from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. You connect SmartGenius to the assistant and ask there. The post arrives as a draft. You are the one who approves it.

How much does it cost?

The free plan includes 10 images a month. Paid plans start at $49 a month, billed in US dollars, and you can cancel anytime. Paid plans open once Meta approves.

What about my data?

From your account, we read what is public. Anything else, only after you connect Instagram and authorize it. You can disconnect whenever you like, which removes our access. Your posts and photos stay yours. The details are in the Privacy policy.
